University of Dubuque

William Burnette (C'50) was a all-conference performer and team captain for the University of Dubuque Football team. As a senior, Burnette earned First Team All-Iowa Conference at Guard while serving as Team Captain. He was also a member of the 1948 IIAC Champions who went 5-0 in league play.
