University of Dubuque

James Carpenter was a radio pioneer in eastern Iowa by bringing the first FM radion station to Dubuque. While working at WKBB in Dubuque, Carpenter was a member of the UD board of directors. He did sports play-by-play broadcasts on the side for enjoyment.
