University of Dubuque

Dan Daack (C'68) was one of the most accomplished wrestlers in University of Dubuque history. He is the only Spartan to win three-straight Iowa Conference titles, taking the 137 lbs. championship in 1966, 1967, and 1968. Daack also played football in the late 60's for UD. After graduation he went on to teach at Dubuque Senior High School.
