Rick Valcin graduated in 2015 and holds the school record for Indoor and Outdoor Pole Vault and the IIAC Outdoor Championship Pole Vault Record. Rick achieved all-American honors and multiple all-conference honors. In 2014, he set his personal record of 5.20 meters at the St. Lucia National Championships. 

Rick and his wife, Nadyah, reside in Dubuque with their four children.
