DUBUQUE, Iowa - The American Rivers Conference (A-R-C) released their weekly conference awards on Monday afternoon as University of Dubuque men's golfer
Luke Harwick was named conference golfer of the week after winning the conference title at the A-R-C Men's Golf Championships last week in Des Moines, Iowa.
Harwick (Guttenberg, Iowa / Dysersville Beckman Catholic) shot a 54-hole conference championships record of 213, breaking the previous record of 215. Harwick also set the new 18-hole conference championships record of 67 in his opening round to help set the groundwork to win the men's golf conference title as a sophomore and just the fourth Spartan to win the individual men's golf title in the history of the program.
As a team, the Spartans also set the 54-hole team record of 884, beating the previous record by seven strokes.
The University of Dubuque men's golf team will now head down to Howey-in-the-Hills, Florida to compete at the 2026 NCAA Division III Men's Golf Championships at the Mission Resort & Club beginning on Tuesday, May 12.
