MILWAUKEE, Wis. - The Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) has announced its major award winners and all-conference team for the 2026 men's lacrosse season. The University of Dubuque men's lacrosse team was represented by NACC second team honoree
Cambell Smith, as well as defensemen
Eric Brostek and
Beckett Mull, who both earned honorable mention honors.
Smith (Hampshire, Ill. / Hampshire HS) led the Spartans this season with 43 points in conference play (11 games), scoring 33 goals and dishing out 10 assists. Smith's 33 goals were the second most in the league, averaging 3 goals per game, while also tying for the fourth most points in the league with 43.
Brostek (Bend, Ore. / Bend Senior HS) played 10 conference games this season on defense, causing 10 turnovers and collecting 26 ground balls. Brostek's 26 ground balls were tied for the second most on the team this season by a Spartan defender.
Mull (Omaha, Neb. / Elkhorn HS) started all 11 conference games this season, finishing with 18 caused turnovers and 18 ground balls. Mull's 18 caused turnovers were the most on the team this season and tied for the sixth most in the league.
The Spartans concluded their season on Wednesday, April 22, with a dominant 19-5 home win over Cornell College, finishing with a 6-10 record.
