MILWAUKEE, Wis. - The Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) released their 2025 men's lacrosse all-conference team on Thursday afternoon. Six University of Dubuque men's lacrosse student-athletes were selected to the all-conference team.
Sam Todd (St. Louis, Mo. / St. Mary's Southside Catholic) wa the lone first team selection for the Spartans. Todd finished nine conference games (missed two conference games) with 44 total points coming off of 25 goals and 19 assists. Even with two missed games, Todd finished with the fourth most points in the NACC during conference play and had the third most goals per game in the league at 2.78.
Aiden Ennett (Fayetteville, N.C. / Jack Britt) was selected to the second team a 15 goal, five assist conference season in 10 games played. On defense,
Ethan Smith (Hartland, Mich. / Hartland) also earned second team honors after averaging 2.73 caused turnovers per game, good for second best in the NACC. Smith also had 47 ground balls which was ninth best in the league.
Earning honorable mention honors for the Spartans were
Eric Brostek (Bend, Ore. / Bend Senior),
Aidan Culligan (Eagle, Idaho / The Ambrose School), and
John Lewis (Arlington Heights, Ill. / St. Viator).
Brostek played all 11 conference games and had the third most ground balls for the Spartans this season with 36 which was 18th in the league this season. Culligan scored 23 goals and dished out 15 assists in nine conference games (missed two games) and averaged 6.56 shots per game. Lewis was the main faceoff specialist for the Spartans winning 129 faceoffs (.682%). Lewis had the second most faceoff wins in the league.
The Spartans ended their season in the NACC semifinals and finsihed with an 11-7 record this season.
