JANESVILLE, Wis. - The University of Dubuque men's golf team opened up their season on Friday at the Edgewood University Fall Invitational where both A and B Teams currently sit in the top five through 18 holes.
The Spartans B team shot nine over par (+9) as
Joe LaBarbera led the B team with an even par 71.
Tyson Malak was +1 par,
Caleb McCullough +3 par, and in his first collegiate golf round,
Drew Aschliman was +5.
The Spartans A team shot a collective score of +11 par after
John Dobbe shot +1 par today to lead the A team. Dobbe was followed by
Hunter Polley at +2 in his first collegiate round, along with
Bock Mueller and
Bob Ryan who each shot +4 par.
