ASBURY, Iowa - The University of Dubuque men's golf "B' team used a round of 295 to move up three spots on Tuesday to win the Loras Fall Invitational with a team score of 600 (+24). Although it was a tie with the host, Loras College, the Spartans took home the team title based on the tiebreaker of the team's fifth golfer.
Joe LaBarbera tied for first place in the Loras Fall Invitational, but lost the tiebreaker on the card back for medalist honors. LaBarbera shot a two-day total of 147 (+3) after a one-over-par round today.
Nolan Adamczyk finished tied for third with a score of 148 (+4) and was the deciding factor today as the Spartans won the team title with his +5 performance.
Drew Aschliman,
Carson Rowe, and
Caleb McCullough all shot two over par today, with Aschliman finishing tied for eighth, Rowe was tied for 28th, and McCullough right behind in a tie for 32nd.
Drew Lindsay was tied for 36th with a 159 (+15) to round out the Spartans' field.
