NORMAN, Okla. — The Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) announced the 2026 NCAA Division III PING All-America Teams on Thursday, with University of Dubuque men's golfers Luke Harwick and John Dobbe earning Honorable Mention honors.
Harwick, a sophomore from Guttenberg, Iowa (Beckman Catholic High School), put together an outstanding season. He finished 12th among 225 golfers at the NCAA Championships in May with a three-under-par performance. Harwick also claimed the American Rivers Conference (A-R-C) individual title, tying the conference championship 18-hole record and setting a new 54-hole tournament record. He opened the spring season with a victory at the Great Lakes Intercollegiate.
Nationally ranked No. 27 and No. 2 in the region, Harwick averaged 70.8 strokes over 27 rounds across 12 tournaments. He finished under par in eight events during the season.
Dobbe, a junior from Eldridge, Iowa (North Scott High School), capped off another strong campaign by placing 16th at the NCAA Championships. He earned All-A-R-C honors with a sixth-place finish at the conference championships and recorded two tournament victories during the season at the Central Fall Classic and the Edgewood University Fall Invitational.
At the Edgewood Invitational, Dobbe set new school records for both a single-round score (-7) and a 36-hole score (-10). Ranked No. 32 nationally and No. 3 in the region, he averaged 71.6 strokes over 27 rounds in 12 tournaments and finished under par in five events.
The Spartans' duo becomes the fourth and fifth All-Americans in program history and the first time the men's golf program has had multiple All-Americans in the same season.
Harwick and Dobbe helped lead the Spartans to the most successful season in program history. The team made the 36-hole cut at the NCAA Championships and went on to record a program-best 14th-place finish.
