WHITEWATER, Wis. - Dede Davis continues to lead the Spartans this season and it continued on Saturday at the UW-Whitewater Tom Hoffman Invitational as she posted a sub 24 minute 6k time to finish fourth. 

The Spartans finished third out of six teams with Davis posting a top ten time in school history on Saturday finishing behind three UW-Whitewater runners. Kiley Chapman found her way into the top 20 running 25:54.30. A trio of Spartans were within 13 seconds of each other as Kiana Vogel, Keely Williams, and Ellec Armstead all finished in the top 35 of the 6k race.

The Spartans will be at the NCAA Division III Pre-Nationals meet in two weeks on Friday, October 4. The meet will take place in Terre Haute, Ind.
