CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - The American Rivers Conference (A-R-C) cross country championships took center stage at Seminole Valley Park where the University of Dubuque women's cross country team finished seventh with 196 team points.
Dede Davis had a massive personal best tonight in route to her first all-conference honor, finishing 10th in a time of 22:51.8. The next Spartan crossed the line at 24:51.0 as
Ellec Armstead finished 52nd.
Kiana Vogel finished 65th in a time of 25:18.1, while
Alli Gonnella and
Mackenzie Rader were neck and neck to finish 79th and 81st.
The Spartans were without a few of their key runners today, but they made the most of what they had in front of them and nearly improved from last season's conference finish.

The Spartans will compete in the NCAA Midwest Region Championships on Saturday, November 16. The host site will be in Rock Island, Ill. at the Saukie Golf Course. Start time will be at 11:00 a.m.
