ROCK ISLAND, Ill. - The University of Dubuque women's cross country team competed in the Augustana Interregional Invitational on Saturday and finished 10th out of 28 teams in the Blue 6k race. 

Dede Davis paced the Spartans with a season-best time in the 6k, finishing 13th with a time of 23:45.5. Kiana Vogel broke her personal best in the event, finishing 28th with a time of 24:06.8. Jaide Flowers finished in 25:37.6, which was good for 100th in the event. Mackenzie Rader and Alexia Pecora rounded out the Spartans' place finishers, completing with times of 26:10.0 and 27:09.4, respectively.

The Spartans will run again in the American Rivers Conference Championships at the Dubuque Sports Complex on November 1. The 6k race is scheduled for noon and will be hosted by Loras College.
