COLFAX, Wis. - The University of Dubuque women's cross country team ran at the UW-Eau Claire Blugold Invitational on Friday afternoon at the Whitetail golf course where 25 teams and 356 participants were set to compete in the 6 kilometer course. In a tough field, the Spartans would finish 19th with 577 team points.
Riley Roman continued to lead the Spartans as she posted a 146th place finish with a time of 25:38.12. improving her best 6k time by 21 seconds.
Taylor Barber was the second to cross the finish line for the Spartans in 26:40.21 to finish 206th. Barber was the most improved from the last meet as she improved her season best by 1:25. Freshman,
Ellec Armstead ran her first collegiate meet with a 213th place finish running 26:47.24.
Eliana Berry finished with a time of 26:52.02 and
Katelyn Pfaltzgraff crossed the line at 27:13.47 to round out the top five scoring for the Spartans.
The top five Spartan finishers averaged 26:39 on the 6k course and ran a total time of 2:13:12
