INDIANOLA, Iowa - The University of Dubuque women's cross country team began their postseason today at the American Rivers Conference (A-R-C) Cross Country Championships. The championships were hosted by Simpson College at Indianola Pickard Park Sports Complex. The Spartans finished eighth out of nine teams finishing with 256 team points. 120 runners took the 6k course on Saturday.
Riley Roman was the first Spartan to cross the finish line on Saturday running 26:06.5 to finish 59th.
Chetna Bhusari was the next Spartan to finish in 27:20.9 which is her fastest 6k time this season. Bhusari finished 92nd.
Katelyn Pfaltzgraff finished shortly after in 99th crossing the finish line at 27:55.9.
Katrina Truitt finished 103rd in a time of 28:35.3.
Jadyn Werner had a great day finishing with a lifetime best after her 105th place finish running 28:55.91 which was 1:09 faster than her previous lifetime best.
Emma Lundquist also completed the course in a lifetime best of 29:11.08 finishing 107th. Lundquist's previous lifetime best was 30:02.
Taylor Barber (113th) and
Lizzie Schwartz (114th) rounded out the field for the Spartans finishing in 30:46.22 and 31:20.57 respectively.
