DUBUQUE, Iowa - The University of Dubuque women took a step up in competition on Friday afternoon at the Bradley (D1) Intercollegiate meet. The first Spartan across the finish line for the third straight race was
Riley Roman at 20:50.9, good for 38th place. As a team, UD finished in eighth place in the three-mile race.Â

Kiley Chapman finished second and third for the Spartans with Zarling taking 42nd at 21:16.4 and Chapman finishing in 22:08.0 for 50th place. Senior
Danielle Johnsen was next across the line at 22:18.8 in 52nd. Chapman, Johnsen,
Katrina Truitt,
Taylor Barber, and
Chetna Bhusari all finished within 48 seconds of each other.Â
