DUBUQUE, Iowa – The University of Dubuque men's basketball team will host the Coe College Kohawks in the American Rivers Conference Tournament Semifinals on Thursday night, after the Spartans grinded out a win in the quarterfinals over Nebraska Wesleyan.

-Coe leads the series 48-32 dating back to 1916-17
-UD took the lone regular season game between the two, with an 86-71 win on Jan. 27

-The Kohawks are coming off a thrilling and fast-paced 94-88 win over Simpson in the quarterfinals.
-Coe had three players score more than 20 points against the Dutch in Jarad Kruse (28), Sam Auen (22) and Cael Schmitt (21).
-The Koahwks can score with the best of them, scoring 84.5 points per game, the third most in the conference and their field goal percentage pf 52.1% is the top mark in the conference.
-Thursday will feature the top-two free throw shooting teams in the A-R-C as Coe connects on 75.7% of their attempts, while the Spartans shoot 75.2% from the line.
-Coe has four players averaging more than 10 points per game with Jarad Kruse leading the way with 19.7 and Cael Schmitt with 15.7.

After a 32-point outburst on Tuesday night, senior forward Peter Ragen is now just seven points away from becoming the 24^th Spartan to score 1,000 career points. His 32 points in a game are the second most scored in a game this season by someone in the A-R-C.
