DUBUQUE, Iowa - The University of Dubuque women finished in eighth place with a team score of 247 at the 2021 American Rivers Conference (A-R-C) Championships hosted by Luther College. Sophomore
Riley Roman paced the Spartans with a new PR of 26:06.2. Wartburg won its third straight A-R-C title.

Eliana Berry returned to the Spartans lineup after not competing since the Spartan Igniter on September 1. Berry finished with a time of 26:29.5 and 81st place.
Danielle Johnsen cut another 18 seconds off her previous best time with a championships time of 26:44.0 and 87th place finish.
Carleen Snow was the fourth Spartan across the finish line with a time of 27:12.4.
Katrina Truitt was the final scorer for UD in 109th place at 27:54.1. Freshman
Madison Coglianese,
Taylor Barber,
Kiley Chapman, and
Lydia Zarling all had the opportunity to gain valuable championships experience but finished outside the top five for the Spartans.

The Spartans return to action on Saturday, November 13 for the NCAA Division III Midwest Regional at Augustana College in Rock Island, Ill. at the Saukie Golf Course.Â
