DUBUQUE, Iowa - College Sports Communicators (CSC) released the 2026 softball academic all-district team on Tuesday morning. University of Dubuque softball student-athletes,
Zoe Connell,
Megan Leick,
Kaitlyn Powell,
Ciaran Rigby, and
Amber Wisely were awarded with academic all-district honors by the organization.
Powell (Blue Grass, Iowa / Davenport West HS) is earning her third career academic honor from CSC while Connell (Kenosha, Wis. / Indian Trail HS), Leick (Mead, Colo. / Longmont HS), Rigby (Johnston, Iowa / Johnston HS), and Wisely (Belvidere, Ill. / Belvidere HS) are all earning their first career academic honors from the organization.
Academic eligibility:
- An undergraduate student-athlete must have at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale).
- A graduate student-athlete must have at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) as both an undergraduate and a grad student unless they are in their first semester as a graduate student and don't have an established graduate GPA.
Athletic eligibility: Sport-specific nomination criteria
- Student-athletes must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically.
- Eligible nominees must compete in 90 percent of the institution's games played OR must start in at least 66 percent of the institution's games. For pitchers, a student-athlete must have made at least 17 appearances OR pitched 35 innings.
