CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – The American Rivers Conference (A-R-C) announced their softball postseason honors on Wednesday afternoon. Lauren Jacobs was named honorable mention by the league's coaches.

Jacobs received honorable mention honors as an outfielder after hitting .333 and slugging .479 across 48 at bats during her junior season in conference play. She finished tied for first in the conference with two triples, while also driving in twelve runs. In the field, she recorded 29 put outs and notched two assists while committing no errors. Jacobs is earning her first softball postseason honor from the A-R-C.

With the announcement of conference honors, the Spartans will now await the release of regional and academic honors in the coming weeks.
