GALENA, Ill. - The University of Dubuque men's golf "B" team captured the Clarke University Spring Invite on Tuesday afternoon. With rounds of 320 on day one and 325 on day two at the North Course on the Eagle Ridge Resort in the Galena Territories, the Spartans won the tournament title by eight strokes.
The Spartans had three top-five finishers as
Carson Rowe led the way with a fourth place finish after carding a 159 (+15).
Joe LaBarbera and
Bock Mueller (IND) were right behind in a tie for fifth after golfing a 161 (+17).
Drew Lindsay finished ninth at +19, while
Caleb McCullough and
Cade Bastian each shot +20 to tie for 12th place.

"Our guys did a really good job of hanging tough in these conditions. It was cold and windy both days and I thought we adjusted very well and some of our younger players step up today. Proud of the fight and it was great to get the win"
