MUNDELEIN, Ill. - Luke Harwick shot four-under-par (-4) for the 36-hole Forester Spring Invite as the Spartans finished third as a team with a team scorecard of one over par (+1). The Spartans will now prepare for the A-R-C Men's Golf Championships beginning on Sunday, April 26.

The Spartans were the best team on the par 4's this weekend, averaging 4.12. The Spartans were the second best team on the par 5's, shooting -13 under par. Harwick led the way for the Spartans on the individual leaderboard with a four under par scorecard to finish fourth, just two strokes behind the leader. John Dobbe and Tyson Malak both tied for ninth with back-to-back even par rounds. Pauly Bloomquist finished five over par to tie for 25th, while Joe LaBarbera scored a seven over par to finish tied for 38th place. Bob Ryan shot nine over par to finish 49th.

The Spartans will now prepare for the postseason where they will open the three-day A-R-C Men's Golf Championships on Sunday, April 26. The Spartans dominated the 2025 A-R-C Men's Championships after winning by over 20 strokes to claim the league title for head coach Dustin Bierman.

The 2026 American Rivers Conference (A-R-C) Men's Golf Championship will be Sunday-Monday-Tuesday (Wednesday rain date), April 26-28, 2026 at Glen Oaks Country Club in West Des Moines, Iowa. Sunday is scheduled to begin at 1:00 p.m. and Monday and Tuesday are scheduled to begin at 9:00 a.m. Simpson College is the host of this year's championship. 

The conference championship is played on a neutral course with 54 holes being played. Eighteen (18) holes shall be played each day with all teams off No. 1 tee all days. The rules committee, in consultation with the conference office, will determine the outcome of rounds shortened by weather or darkness. 

The winner of the 2026 A-R-C Championships receives the league's automatic bid to the 2026 NCAA Division III Championships.

Spectator golf carts will not be reserved and will come on a first-come, first-serve basis. The cost of a golf cart will be $50 and must follow spectator guidelines. 

Glen Oaks is a gated community, but no pass is needed to enter the gates for the championship. Spectators are encouraged able to access the gated community through the North entrance; however, can also enter through the South gate. Please refer to the map around Glen Oaks.

Live scoring is available through Clippd Scoreboard. Student-athletes will be keeping their scores via mobile devices, so scoring will be as live as possible. Reminder: scores remain unofficial until the conclusion of the round.
