MUNDELEIN, Ill. - The University of Dubuque men's golf team shot a 289 (+1) on Friday at the Forester Spring Invite to sit in fourth place through 18 holes. Luke Harwick, John Dobbe, and Tyson Malak all lead the Spartans with even par scorecards.

The Spartans currently sit seven strokes back of the top two teams on the leaderboard and trail No. 12 Aurora by only three strokes. The Spartans ended the day as the team with the most pars with 60. 

Luke Harwick, John Dobbe, and Tyson Malak are all tied for 15th place with even par scorecards. Malak had four birdies on the day, while Harwick shot a 35 on the front nine and Dobbe also recorded a 35 on the back nine. 

Pauly Bloomquist was one over par (+1) on the round with four total birdies, including three on the back nine. Bloomquist is currently in 23rd place. 

Bob Ryan and Joe LaBarbera are both three over par (+3) and are tied for 40th place.
