SPRINGFIELD, Ill. - The University of Dubuque men's golf team placed second of 14 teams competing at the 2026 Illinois College Blueboy Invitational on Friday afternoon, finishing with rounds of 291-292 (583). A field of 84 linksters teed off on the Rail Golf Course (Par 72) on Thursday, April 9 and Friday, April 10. Luke Harwick led the Spartans with a fourth place finish with rounds of 74-69 (143).

Joe Labarbera placed ninth overall after rounds of 73-72 (145), Paully Bloomquist placed 10th 74-72 (146), Bob Ryan finished 11th 72-75 (147), John Dobbe was 12th 71-76 (147), Caleb McCullough finished 25th 75-78 (153), and Tyson Malak was 33rd 79-77 (156).

UD will continue their road schedule when they travel to Wisconsin Lutheran College Morningstar Masters on Sunday, April 12 and April 13 at Morningstar Golfers Club in Vernon, Wis.
