BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - Dakota Hoffman finished 10th in the men's shot put to earn Second Team All-America honors on the final day of the NCAA Indoor Championships. 

Hoffman (Worthington, Iowa / Western Dubuque HS) threw 16.67 meters on his third throw in the event. Hoffman just barely missed out on competing in the finals by .03 meters. This is Hoffman's second, Second Team All-America honor of his indoor career.

The Spartans will open outdoor season on Friday, March 27 at the UW-Platteville Triangular.
