MILWAUKEE, Wis. - The Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) announced the weekly men's lacrosse athletes of the week on Wednesday morning. University of Dubuque men's lacrosse freshman attacker Carter Nelson was named NACC Men's Lacrosse Offensive Athlete of the Week for his performance against Lawrence University this past weekend.

Nelson (Woodbury, Minn. / Woodbury HS) scored three goals and assisted on three goals for six total points in a close 10-9 win over Lawrence to open conference play. The freshman had six shot attempts and connected on 50% of his shots.  

In just his fourth game of his collegiate career, Nelson is earning his first weekly men's lacrosse honor from the NACC.
