DUBUQUE, Iowa - The University of Dubuque women's wrestling finished with nine place winners and five champions at the 2026 Loras College Women's Open on Saturday, Jan. 31. The UD champions included:
Shea Reisel (117 lbs.),
Bree Swenson (124 lbs.),
Tatum Levendahl (145 lbs.),
Alex Hofrichter (160 lbs.), and
Merin Yates (180lbs). No team scores were kept.
The Spartans led all teams with 15 falls during the open in 36:50 and were second in total match points with 186 points.
Alex Hofrichter led all wrestlers with four falls in 4:07
UD will continue their season next week at the Quad Cities D3 Invite on Februaty 7-8 in Rock Island, Ill.
