PLATTEVILLE, Wis. - The University of Dubuque men's track & field won four events at a very deep and competitive UW-Platteville Invitational on Saturday.
Otis Patterson, Jaidyn Wiilliams, and
Blake Hardison claimed the four wins on the Spartans. Patterson won both the 200 and 400 Meter Dash, Williams won the triple jump, and Hardison the 110 Meter Hurdles. In total the Spartans came away with 10 top five finishes on the day.
Otis Patterson first smashed his previous personal best time in the 400 Meter Dash running a blistering 47.72 which moves him into third all-time at the University of Dubuque and currently has him eighth in the country. His time also currently leads the A-R-C in the event. He then matched his personal best from a week ago by repeating a time of 21.79 in the 200 Meter Dash to win the event. Senior
Blake Hardison ran 14.47 time in the 110 Meter Hurdlers to run a seasons best in the event. This time moves Hardison into 10th nationally in the event. The fourth champion came from the triple jump as
Jaidyn Williams set a new outdoor personal best mark of 14.66m to win the event on Saturday in his triple jump season opener. That mark by Williams moves him into sixth nationally and his currently the A-R-C leader in the event.
Other notable performances came from
Jacob Edwards as he finished second in the shot put. Edwards with a personal best of 17.68m to move him into second nationally and the A-R-C leader in the event. The 4x400 Meter Relay team of

Andrew Hutchinson,
Kaden Miller,
Blake Hardison ran 3:14.87 to finish in second place. That quartet currently has the seventh fastest time in the country and A-R-C lead in the event.
