Men's Track & Field Compete at Keck DIII Select and Tadd Metzger Invitational

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - The University of Dubuque men's track & field team split to two separate locations Saturday as running events traveled to Illinois Wesleyan University for the Keck DIII Select, while field events traveled to Carthage College for the Tadd Metzger Invitational. The Spartans came way with two champions from the Keck DIII Select. Blake Hardison won the 60m hurdles with a time of 8.11 to win the event for the third time this season. The 4x400m relay team of Otis Patterson, Kali Freeman, Blake Hardison, and Andrew Hutchinson won the event with a time of 3:22.48.
 
At the Tadd Metzger Invitational, the Spartans competed in mostly field events with the exception of one running event. The Spartans crowned three champions at Carthage while tallying 115.5 team points. Ethan Stoker won his third pole vault competition of the season with a clearance of 4.50 meters. Jacob Edwards continued his dominance in the Shot Put putting up a mark of 17.06 meters. Lastly, Jaidyn Williams won the triple jump competition with leap of 14.41 meters.
