DUBUQUE, Iowa – The University of Dubuque women's track and field team had a final tune up hosting the Sol Butler Classic Friday evening. The Spartans looked to end the regular season on a high note before the A-R-C Indoor Championships on the horizon. The Spartans had one champion on the night with a handful of second and third place finishers.
The Spartans were led with a win by sophomore
Chloe Reiser in the shot put with a mark of 13.50m. Reiser will be in the hunt for the conference championship in the event next weekend. Also leading the Spartans was
Victoria Zoltowska earning runner-up finishes in the long jump and the 60m hurdles. The multi event specialist, Zoltowska finished the long jump with a mark of 5.09m and finished the 60m hurdles with a time of 9.56.

The Spartans will head into championship season next weekend as they head to Wartburg College for the American Rivers Conference Indoor Track & Field Championship. The championships begin on Friday, February 28 with the pentathlon begin at 10:00 a.m.
Field events begin at 3:00 p.m. with the men's pole vault, women's long jump, and women's shot put. Running events begin at 5:00 p.m. with the women's 5,000 meter run.
