BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - Jaden Gatts cleared 1.73 meters to become the NCAA Division III National Runner-Up in the women's high jump and
Chloe Reiser threw 13.69 meters in the women's shot put to earn her first career NCAA Indoor All-American honor of her career on the final day of the NCAA Division III Indoor Championships in Alabama.
Gatts (Solon, Iowa / Midland HS) became the first NCAA Indoor All-American in school history on Saturday in the women's high jump with a national runner-up finish. The junior cleared 1.73 meters on her first attempt at the height and was one of only three in the field to clear the height. Gatts is now a two-time all-american in the indoor high jump and a three-time qualifier.
Reiser (Decorah, Iowa / Decorah HS) earned her first career NCAA Indoor All-American honor in the women's shot put with a seventh place finish. Reiser's best toss came on her first throw in the event with a toss of 13.69 meters.
The Spartans will open outdoor season on Friday, March 27 at the UW-Platteville Triangular.
