DUBUQUE, Iowa - College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced the 2025-26 Women's Track & Field and Cross Country Academic All-America teams on Wednesday, July 15. Ashley Glennon (Peosta, Iowa / Hempstead HS) was named an Academic All-America second team selection after an incredible senior season that featured a national runner-up finish in the javelin throw at the 2026 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships, while maintaining a 4.00 GPA throughout her entire collegiate career.

Glennon is the sixth CSC Academic All-American in program history and the first since Kaitlyn Wilder in 2024. She was also part of eleven of the 45 members of the Academic All-America Division III women's track & field/cross country teams that held a perfect 4.00 GPA in their undergraduate work or graduate school. 

Glennon qualified for her first NCAA Outdoor Championships this past May and did what no other women's javelin thrower has done in program history before. On her first throw of the event in the pouring rain, Glennon launched a throw of 45.04 meters that ultimately got her a national runner-up finish and a new school record by over a meter.

Throughout her collegiate career, Glennon was a two-time United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Region performer in the javelin as well as the American Rivers Conference (A-R-C) runner-up in the 2024 outdoor conference championships. She has also earned numerous academic awards throughout her career, including three-time honors from A-R-C, USTFCCCA, and College Sports Communicators (CSC).
