LA CROSSE, Wis. - The University of Dubuque track and field teams wrapped up the 2026 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships on Saturday afternoon. The women's team finished with 20.5 points, earning 11th place. On the final day of the championships, Ashley Glennon was runner-up in the javelin throw, while Lucas Cummings and Jaide Flowers both earned All-American honors on the podium.
Ashley Glennon, in her first NCAA Outdoor Championships, had an amazing performance. Rising to the occasion, Glennon, on her first throw and in the pouring rain, reached a mark of 45.04 meters. Her runner-up finish earned her First Team All-American and was a personal best. Glennon becomes the first in UD women's track & field program history to be an All-American in the javelin.
Jaide Flowers, coming off a school record performance, cemented her spot as a First Team All-American after running 55 seconds flat in the 400 meters final, earning 7th place. Flowers All-American performance was her first of her career.
Lucas Cummings finished eighth place in the hammer throw with a mark of 58.51 meters, to earn his first career First Team All-American honor. Cummings All-American throw came on his third throw of the event. He also improved on a 20th-place finish in last year's outdoor championships.
Breen Duffy finished 18th in her first career NCAA outdoor championships appearance in the hammer throw with her best mark coming in at 51.71 meters.
In total, the University of Dubque produced eight All-Americans over three days, five first-team and three second-team honors at the 2026 NCAA Outdoor Championships.
