PLATTEVILLE, Wis. - The University of Dubuque women's track & field team opened up final qualifier weekend at UW-Platteville to prep for the NCAA Championships next weekend.
In the shot put,
Chloe Reiser improved her shot put distance by throwing 13.95 meters to currently move up to No. 11 in Division III. In the same event,
Nai'lah Anders threw a season-best 13.55 meters, which moves her currently inside the top 24 in the country, pending results from this weekend's competitions.
Jaden Gatts won another high jump title, clearing 1.69 meters. Her season-best time of 1.74 meters is still the fourth highest this season and will be competing next weekend at the NCAA Indoor Championships.
Nina Tomko took home first place finishes in the 60 meter hurdles (9.31) and 60 meter dash (8.02), while also placing third in the 200 meters (27.60). Kayal Shade took runner-up in the 200 meters with a time of 27.47 seconds.
The Spartans will compete tomorrow in the UW-La Crosse Final Qualifier starting at Noon.
