DUBUQUE, Iowa – The University of Dubuque men's track and field team hosted the annual Sol Butler Classic Friday evening to conclude the indoor regular season. The Spartans ended the regular season with eight event wins on the night and looked to have a final tune up for the A-R-C Indoor Championships next weekend.
Blake Hardison won the 60m hurdles for the fifth time this season with a time of 8.19. He will look to contend for the conference title in the event. Senior
Nolan Lentz won the 200m dash with a time 22.55 to pick up the win.
Otis Patterson improve his conference leading time in the 400m dash with a time of 49.23 and will look to compete for the conference championship in the event next weekend.
Andrew Hutchinson won the one mile run with a time of 4:21.02. The 4x400m team of

Blake Hardison put up a solid time for the Spartans with a time of 3:20.54. Senior
Jaidyn Williams won both the long jump with 6.83m mark. He also won the triple jump with 14.33m. Williams will look to defend his triple jump title from 2024 in the event next weekend.
Jacob Edwards pulled off another shot put win with a mark of 17.18m. Edwards will also look to contend for the championship in the event next weekend.

The Spartans will head into championship season next weekend as they head to Wartburg College for the American Rivers Conference Indoor Track & Field Championship. The championships begin at 10:15 a.m. on Friday, February 28 with the Heptathlon
Field events begin at 3:00 p.m. with the men's pole vault, women's long jump, and women's shot put. Running events begin at 5:00 p.m. with the women's 5,000 meter run.
