DUBUQUE, Iowa – The University of Dubuque women's cross country team competed in the American Rivers Conference Championships on Saturday and finished sixth of nine teams in the conference.
Dede Davis earned all-conference honors again this season with an 11th place finish.
Davis led the Spartans with a personal-best time of 22:29.3 in the 6k event, which is also the second fastest 6,000 kilometer time in UD women's cross country history. Her time was quick enough for 11
th place in the meet, earning her all-conference honors for the second consecutive season. Every UD runner in the 6k race achieved a personal best on Saturday.
Kiana Vogel finished 35
th with a time of 23:37.0.
Alexia Pecora finished 62
nd in the meet with a time of 24:31.5.
Jaide Flowers and
Mackenzie Rader rounded out the Spartans place finishers with times of 24:42.2 and 25:03.3 respectively, good for 65
th and 77
th in the conference championship meet.

The Spartans will race in the NCAA Midwest Region Championships on November 15 at 12:00 p.m. at the Max Cross Country Course in Waverly, Iowa. The best finishers will advance to the NCAA Championships on November 22.
