COLFAX, Wis. - The University of Dubuque men's cross country team ran in their third meet of the season on Friday morning at the UW-Eau Claire Blugold Invitational. The Spartans finished in the top half of the 34 team field with a 15th place finish and 464 team points.
Anthony Carney Jr. continues to be the leader for the Spartans, recording his third straight top 15 finish with a 13th place. Carney Jr. crossed the finish line in 25:18.4 in his second 8k race of the season. Finishing behind Carney Jr. for the Spartans was senior
Trentyn Gilges who finished the race in 26:38.7.
Aiden Mohr ran a season best 27:21.9, while
Carter Richter (28:02.1),
Logan Karottu (28:04.9),
Evan Robertson (28:12.9), and
Jack Mulert (28:15.0) were all able to finish within 13 seconds of each other to round out the top seven finishers for the Spartans.
