CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - After the conclusion of the Fall sports season, the University of Dubuque Spartans sit fourth among the conference in the Combined All-Sports Trophy standings. Among five women's sports, the Spartans are third in the Marjorie Giles Women's All-Sports Trophy, while fourth in the Elmer Hertel Men's All-Sports Trophy standings after the conclusion of three sports.
On the women's side, the Spartans were led by the women's golf team who won the A-R-C championship back in October for the fifth time in the last six seasons. Women's volleyball finished runner-up in the regular season to earn eight points, while women's soccer finished fourth for a total of six points. The men were led by cross country who recorded their highest finish ever in program history with a third place finish at the A-R-C Championships and football who finished 5-3 in conference play to finish fourth in the league standings.
