WATERLOO, Iowa - The University of Dubuque men's golf team looked a bit different this weekend as some of the Spartans are battling a stomach bug and would be out of the starting line-up. The Spartans placed 12th of the 14 teams competing with a score of 337-333=670 over the two day tournament.
Colin Schmit led UD with rounds of 81-82-163 and tied for 40th on Sunnyside Country Club.
Matt McQuillen tied for 45th with a score of 82-82-164,
Drake Polley tied for 62nd with an 86-85-171,
Andrew Anderson tied for 66th with an 88-84-172, and
Cade Bastian tied for 83rd with rounds of 92-94-186.
UD will continue their play on Monday, April 10 at the Judson University Invite at Randall Oaks Golf Club in Elgin, Ill. They continue on the road when they travel to Springfield, Ill. for the Illinois College Blue Boy Invite at The Rail Golf Course on April 14-15 before returning to play the Loras College Invite on April 15 at the Meadows Golf Club.
