KANSASVILLE, Wis. - The University of Dubuque men's golf team finished second in the 27-team Midwest Region Classic on Monday afternoon with a two-day team score of 602. The team was led by Matt McQuillen who placed sixth overall after rounds of 71 and 76 for a two-day total 147.

Colin Schmit tied for seventh overall (72-76-148), Alex Staver tied for 26th (74-79-153), Brad Buechel tied for 34th (76-79-155), and Drake Polley tied for 70th (84-78-162). One of the toughest competitive fields of the fall showcased 149 linksters with all the Spartans finishing in the top-half and four of five placing in the top 35.
