Madison Bowers posted the best score among all individuals with a 74 (+2) to take home medalist honors at the Mustang Fall Invite.
Madison Bowers is playing her best golf heading into the American Rivers Conference Championships, besting the rest of the field by three strokes after firing off a 74 (+2). Her playing partner on Saturday,
Daniela Miranda joined her in the top-five, tying for fourth place with a 84 (+12)
Three Spartans total came way with a top-ten finish on Saturday as
Sarah Fergus earned a tie of 10th place with a round of 88 (+16), grabbing her third top-10 finish of the fall.
UD sent six golfers in total to the Mustang Fall Invite,
Brooke Bunjes and
Mary Edwards were two of four golfers to card scores of 91 (+19), tying for 15th place among 42 golfers.
Courtney Olson rounded of the six UD golfers with a 23rd place finish after a 93 (+21).
This was the final tune-up for the Spartans as UD's next meet is the American Rivers Conference at the Ames Country Club on Oct. 10-12th.
