She hopped right into the UD lineup as a freshman and played 18 rounds over nine events..Bunjes made her mark right away, winning the first collegiate event she competed in with a two-day score of 157 (+13) at the Luther College Classic on Sept. 5-6. She would come away with five top-10 finishes and four top-five finishes to go along with her victory, while averaging a 83.00. Bunjes finished seventh at the three-day American Rivers Conference Championships for all-conference honors and helping the Spartans to a team title.
