DUBUQUE, Iowa - The Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) on Tuesday released the WBCA Academic Top 25 Team Honor Rolls across all divisions. In Division III, the University of Dubuque women's basketball team ranked fifth in the nation with a combined GPA of 3.826 for the 2025-2026 academic year.

The Spartans finished the 2025-2026 academic year with their best GPA (3.826) in program history when being named to the WBCA Team Honor Roll. The Spartans have now been ranked in the top five four times, and the last time they made the top 25 was in the 2021-2022 season, when they finished tied for 11th.

The WBCA Academic Top 25 recognizes college women's basketball teams across the nation in their respective divisions that carry the highest combined GPAs inclusive of all student-athletes on their rosters for the entire season. A team must have a combined GPA of 3.0 or better and be nominated by its head coach who must be a member of the WBCA to be recognized. The 2025-26 season is the 31st in which the WBCA has compiled the honor rolls.
