WAVERLY, Iowa - The University of Dubuque women's golf team concluded the Wartburg Spring Invite on Sunday afternoon, carding a 306 (+18) to finish the two-day tournament with a total score of 614 (+38) to finish third place. On the individual leaderboard,
Leah Balsbaugh finished tied for fourth place at three over par (+3).
The Spartans had the third best team score of the day and finished ahead of seven other teams in the field.
Balsbaugh finished the Wartburg Spring Invite at three over par (+3) to finish in a tie for fourth place, just three strokes back of the leaders.
Gracie Russell finish 10th with back-to-back four over par performances to card a 151 (+8).
Megan Stephan (+11) had a stellar Sunday, carding a one under par (-1) to move up 24 spots today to finish 14th.
Drew Hoffer and
Kaycee Newman both finished tied for 17th at +12, while
Payton Morton (+16) finished 26th and
Olivia Hines (+17) finished 31st.
