INDIANOLA, Iowa - Four competitors from the University of Dubuque's track & field team ran at the Kip Janvrin Open on Friday. Of the participants, two set personal bests in their respective events.
Mackenzie Rader finished in fifth while running the 400-meter hurdles with a new personal best time of 1:04.41, also the best of the Division III runners. Evan Robertson and Richard Kelso ran the 1500-meter, with Robertson placing 38th with a time of 4:01.12 while Kelso set a new personal best time of 4:06.86. Jackson Croft rounds out the Spartans competing, running the 5000-meter. He took 31st with a time of 16:04.83

The Spartans will have two women's track and field athletes competing on Saturday at the Drake Relays. Jaden Hardison will compete in the high jump and Ashley Glennon will throw in the javelin. Tomorrow, the Javelin throw will be at 10:15 a.m and the high jump will be at noon.
