FARMINGTON, Mo. - The University of Dubuque women's golf team opened the 2026 WashU Spring Invite with a team score of 333 to tie for 10th place overall after the first round. The Spartans were led by
Leah Balsbaugh who shot a round of 77 to tie for 13th overall.
Olivia Hines golfing as an individual finished with a round of 78 to sit in 18th place.
The tournament is being hosted at the Crown Pointe Golf Course, a Par 72 (5,816 yards course). Sunday's round the average score was 83.07 through 82 rounds of play. Four eagles were scored on hole #1 (Par 5, 443 yards) and the toughest hole was #15 (Par 4, 396 yards) which played on average 5.74 where 46 double bogeys happened.
