DECORAH, Iowa – The University of Dubuque women's track & field team completed the final day of the A-R-C Indoor Track & Field Championships on Saturday. The Spartans had two conference champions today as well as one all-conference performance, finishing fifth among the conference team standings.
Jaide Flowers secured her first ever A-R-C Indoor Championship in the 400 meters with a season best time of 56.66 seconds. Flowers finished up her day with a fifth-place finish in the 200 meters with a time of 25.83 seconds.
Jaden Gatts won her first indoor high jump conference title by clearing 1.69 meters after a runner-up finish in the event a season ago. Gatts broke the Luther indoor facility record with her highest jump today.
Sophomore
Faith Hayes finished runner-up in the triple jump with a jump of 11.04 meters coming on her final attempt. Hayes is now an all-conference performer for the first time in her young career.
Dede Davis recorded a personal best time of 5:05.72 in the mile run, recording a fifth-place finish.
Cailey Peterson ran the finals of the 60-meter dash in 7.86 seconds, which is a new personal best. Peterson improved by .03 seconds from her prelim time and finished fifth. She was one of five in the finals that broke the previous Luther facility record of 7.90.

The Spartans will now prepare for next week's indoor final qualifiers starting with the UW-Platteville final qualifier on Friday, March 6. The Spartans will also go to UW-La Crosse on Saturday, March 7.
