CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - The American Rivers Conference (A-R-C) announced the weekly athletes of the week on Monday as UD's Jaden Gatts (Track & Field) and Alex Hofrichter (Women's Wrestling) were both named conference athletes of the week in their respective sports. 

Gatts (Solon, Iowa / Midland) won the high jump at the UW-Whitewater Leonard "Squig" Converse Invitational on Saturday with an indoor personal best jump of 1.70 meters. That jump now puts her #4 in Division III as of today. The junior jumper has now earned two indoor field athlete of the week awards in her career.

Hofrichter (Antigo, Wis. / Antigo) won the 160lbs bracket at the Loras College Open over the weekend. In four matches, Hofrichter recorded falls in every match with her fastest coming in the quarterfinal round in 29 seconds. The four falls for the junior totaled 4:07. Hofrichter has now been named women's wrestler of the week four times in her career and marks two honors so far this season.
