CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa -- Women's wrestlers of the American Rivers Conference (A-R-C) embark on Cowles Fieldhouse on Friday, February 20 and Saturday, February 21 for the NCAA National Collegiate Regionals in Indianola, Iowa. Each wrestler will have an opportunity to punch their ticket to the 2026 NCAA National Collegiate Championship which is slated for March 6-7 at Xtream Arena in Coralville, Iowa.
The
#24 ranked Spartans enter the tournament with a pair of wrestlers ranked in the latest The Open Mat rankings released Feb. 18.
Shea Reisel ranks seventh at 117 lbs.
Alex Hofrichter ranks ninth at 160 lbs.

In each weight class, the top three wrestlers from the regional tournaments will secure their places in the 2026 National Collegiate Women's Wrestling Championships. This historic event marks the first official NCAA-sponsored championship for women's wrestling, featuring 10 weight classes with 180 total competitors from Divisions I, II, and III.
Region V consists of Augsburg University (Division III), No. 18 Augustana College (Division III), Buena Vista University (Division III), Carthage College (Division III), Central College (Division III), Cornell College (Division III), No. 25 University of Dubuque (Division III), No. 1 University of Iowa (Division I), Luther College (Division III), No. 9 Quincy University (Division II), No. 15 Simpson College (Division III), Upper Iowa University (Division II), No. 11 Wartburg College (Division III), UW-Oshkosh (Division III), and No. 23 UW-Stevens Point (Division III).
Brackets and results will be available on TrackWrestling and will be updated throughout the tournament. Each mat will be live streamed.

Tickets can be purchased on-site inside Cowles Fieldhouse. There are no advance ticket sales. Cash and credit cards will be accepted.
Daily admission rates:
• Adults: $15
• Seniors (65 and up) and Children: $5
• Children 5 and younger: Free
Doors will open one hour prior to the competition. Spectators should enter Cowles Fieldhouse from D Street (west entrance).
