WHITEWATER. Wis. - The University of Dubuque women's track and field team took their turn on the track, competing in day two of the UW-Whitewater Leonard "Squig" Converse Invitational on Saturday. The Spartans added three new personal bests and a season best.
On the track,
Jaide Flowers picked up runner-up finishes in both the 200 meters (26.32) and 400 meters (58.81).
Dede Davis finished fourth place in the 3,000 meters with a time of 10:27.32
In the field events,
Jaden Gatts was the high jump champion with a new season best clearance of 1.70 meters.
Chloe Reiser won the shot put with a best toss of 13.52 meters. Alongside Reiser in the shot put,
Breen Duffy tossed 12.44 meters to earn a new personal best and a seventh place finish. In the pole vault both
Cailey Peterson and
Autumn McLaughlin posted personal bests. Peterson cleared 3.60 meters which is the #31 best in Division III this season. McLaughlin's new best clearance of 3.30 meters gave her a tenth place finish.
